Use this guide if you want to design the business cards yourself
This walkthrough assumes you have never used an online card designer before. Follow it from top to bottom. Do not skip the approval step at the end.
Before you start
- Have your business name, phone number, email, website, and any address you want printed.
- If you have a logo, save it on your phone, tablet, or computer first.
- If your logo is only in an email, download it to your device before opening the card creator.
- Decide whether you want information on one side or both sides.
Step 1 — Open the Business Card Creator
- Go to Business Cards.
- Wait for the card stock choices to load. If you see a loading spinner, do not refresh unless it stays stuck.
- When the page is ready, you will see 1 Choose stock & quantity near the top.
Step 2 — Choose the paper stock
- Under STOCK, read each stock name and description.
- Click the stock you want. The selected stock gets a highlighted border and selected circle.
- If one option says Most Popular, that is a recommendation, not a requirement.
- If you change stock later, re-check the available quantities because different stocks can have different quantity choices.
Step 3 — Choose how many cards you want
- Under QUANTITY, click a quantity such as 100, 200, 500, or another available amount.
- Each quantity button shows the total card price and an estimated price per card.
- The selected quantity stays highlighted.
Step 4 — Choose one side or two sides
- Find SIDES.
- Choose Double-sided if you want printing on the front and back.
- Choose Single-sided if the back should remain blank.
- If Double-sided is disabled, that stock is currently available single-sided only.
Step 5 — Build the front of the card
- Scroll to 2 Design your cards.
- Use the design controls to add text, your logo, artwork, shapes, or other available elements.
- Click a text element to edit what it says.
- Move elements by dragging them inside the card canvas.
- Resize or adjust elements with the controls shown by the editor.
- Keep names, phone numbers, email addresses, logos, and other important information inside the green safe zone.
- The outer bleed/guide area can be trimmed. Do not place important information there.
Step 6 — Build the back if you chose Double-sided
- Switch to the back side in the design workspace.
- Add at least one design element or intentional background to the back.
- Keep important information inside the green safe zone here too.
- If you leave the back completely empty while Double-sided is selected, the Add to Cart button will stay disabled.
Step 7 — Save your work if you need a break
- Click Save Design.
- The site saves the working design on the device you are using.
- Return on the same device/browser if you want the best chance of continuing that saved local design.
Step 8 — Choose production speed and delivery method
- In the fulfillment section, choose Standard unless you need to request faster service.
- If you choose a rush option, remember it is a request until Olympic Prints confirms availability.
- For local delivery, enter the ZIP code when prompted so the site can verify eligibility.
- For pickup, choose pickup when offered. Pickup is by confirmed appointment, not an open walk-in storefront.
- Otherwise choose shipping and complete the shipping information at checkout.
Step 9 — Review the order summary
- Scroll to 3 Your order.
- Read the stock name.
- Confirm the quantity.
- Confirm Single-sided or Double-sided.
- Review the preview thumbnail.
- Read the subtotal, any rush charge, fulfillment note, and total shown for the card line.
Step 10 — Approve the design
- Check the box that says I approve the displayed design.
- Only check this after you have checked spelling, phone numbers, email, website, names, and both sides.
- If the Add to Cart button is still gray, look directly underneath it. The page will usually tell you whether you still need to design a side or approve the design.
Step 11 — Add the cards to the cart
- Click Add to Cart.
- Wait while the page builds the print artwork. You may briefly see Building….
- When successful, you will see Added to cart.
Step 12 — Checkout
- Open the cart.
- Confirm the business-card line has the correct stock, quantity, sides, and rush choice.
- Remove the line and return to the creator if something is wrong.
- When everything is correct, continue to checkout and complete the requested contact, delivery, and payment steps.
