How to Have Olympic Prints Design Your Business Cards
Detailed done-for-you business card walkthrough covering card selection, every intake field, reference uploads, authorization, cart, checkout, and proof approval.
Use this guide if you want Olympic Prints to create the business card design for you
You do not need to know design software. You choose the physical card stock and quantity, then tell us what information belongs on the card and what style you want. Olympic Prints prepares the design and the card project stays tied to your order.
Before you start
Gather anything you already have. You can still continue if you do not have all of it.
- Business name.
- Your first and last name.
- Email and phone number where Olympic Prints can reach you.
- Phone number, email, website, address, social media, or job title that should appear on the card.
- Your logo, if you have one.
- Any existing card, sketch, screenshot, photo, brand guide, QR code, or example you like.
Step 1 — Open Business Cards
- Go to Business Cards.
- Wait until the paper stock choices load.
Step 2 — Choose the cards you want printed
- Under STOCK, click the stock you want.
- Under QUANTITY, click the number of cards you want.
- Choose Single-sided or Double-sided.
- Do this before opening the custom-design form. The design-service dialog shows your card selection and will not continue until stock and quantity are selected.
Step 3 — Open the Custom Business Card Design form
- Find the box labeled Custom Business Card Design.
- Read the price shown. The current design-service fee is $50.00. The physical business cards are priced separately.
- Click Add Custom Design.
Step 4 — Check the card summary at the top of the popup
The popup shows the stock, quantity, sidedness, and orientation currently selected. If something is wrong, click Cancel, correct it on the Business Card Creator, then reopen Add Custom Design.
Step 5 — Fill out Contact Information
- Enter First Name.
- Enter Last Name.
- Enter the business name if applicable.
- Enter an Email. This is required.
- Enter a Phone. This is required.
- Choose your Preferred Contact: Order messages, Email, Phone, or No preference.
- If you are signed in, some information may already be filled in. Read it and correct anything that is outdated.
Step 6 — Tell us exactly what should appear on the card
- Enter the Business / Organization Name to Appear on Card.
- Enter the person's name if the card is for a specific person.
- Enter the job title if you want it printed.
- Enter the phone number that should appear on the card.
- Enter the email that should appear on the card.
- Add the website and address if you want them included.
- Add social media information if it belongs on the card.
- If you want a QR code, enter the URL or text the QR should open in QR Destination.
Step 7 — Describe the style
- In Preferred Style / Theme, use everyday words such as minimal, modern, bold, elegant, rustic, coastal, classic, playful, luxury, or clean.
- In Preferred Colors, enter colors or brand colors you want used.
- In Information That Must Appear, list anything we must not accidentally leave out.
- In Information That Must Not Appear, list old phone numbers, old addresses, taglines, or anything you specifically do not want used.
- In Design Description, explain the overall look you want. You can write normally; design vocabulary is not required.
- Use Additional Notes for anything else we should know.
Step 8 — Upload reference files
- Find REFERENCE FILES.
- Click the file chooser.
- Select one or more files. Helpful files include your logo, an old business card, a sketch, screenshots of styles you like, photographs, a brand guide, a QR code, or artwork.
- Uploaded filenames appear below the chooser.
- If you picked the wrong file, click the X beside that filename before continuing.
Step 9 — Read and accept the design authorization
- Read the authorization text near the bottom.
- Check the box only after you understand that Olympic Prints may review the submitted information and create the requested design.
- The authorization also explains that printing does not begin until the required proof approval is completed.
Step 10 — Add the project to your cart
- Click Add Design Service & Business Cards to Cart.
- If the button is disabled, check that first name, last name, email, phone, card stock/quantity, and the authorization checkbox are complete.
- Wait while any reference files upload.
- When successful, the cart receives two linked lines: the physical Business Cards and the Custom Business Card Design service.
Step 11 — Review the cart before checkout
- Open the cart.
- Confirm the card stock and quantity.
- Confirm the Custom Business Card Design service is present.
- Review the combined project before paying.
Step 12 — What happens after checkout
- Olympic Prints receives the design brief, contact information, selected card details, reference files, and authorization record.
- The studio prepares/reviews the design.
- You receive the proof through the supported order communication workflow.
- Review spelling, phone numbers, email addresses, QR destination, colors, and layout carefully.
- Give the required proof approval only when the card is correct.
- Printing is not released merely because payment was made; required proof approval remains part of the workflow.
If you do not know what style you want
Write something simple such as: “I want a clean, professional card. Use my logo and business colors. Put my name and phone on the front and the website and QR code on the back.” That is enough to start a design conversation.
If you get stuck
Use Contact Olympic Prints. Tell us you are using Custom Business Card Design and which field or button is stopping you.
